1. Kangchenjunga Peak 

Kanchenjunga is known as the highest mountain in India. This is the third highest mountain in the world. It is 8,586 meters (28,169 feet) high. Kanchenjunga means “the five treasures of snow” (ie gold, silver, gems, grain, and holy book). Located on the border separating India and Nepal.

2. Nanda Devi 

Nanda Devi is the second-highest mountain in India. It is located in the Garhwal Himalaya region of Uttarakhand and has the highest altitude in the state. If you take everything into account, it can be said that Nanda Devi is the highest peak on the Indian continent, because Kanchenjunga is located on the border between India and Nepal.

3. Kamet Peak

5. Saser Kangri 

Saser Kangri is the fifth highest mountain in India and the 35th highest mountain in the world. Sasser Kangri is made up of five spectacular peaks located in the Saser Muztagh mountain range in Chamu and Kashmir. It is also one of the sub-mountains of the Karakoram Mountains, located to the southeast of the Karakoram Mountains.

6. Mamostong Kangri 

Mamostong Kangri is the sixth highest peak in India and the 48th independent peak in the world. It is the highest peak in the Rimo Mustagh sub-range of the Greater Karakoram Mountains. It is 7516 m (24,659 ft) high and is also located near the Siachen Glacier.

7. Rimo Peak

Rimo is located on the north side of Limuztag, once again becoming part of the Greater Karakoram Mountains. The Rimo mountain range includes four peaks, of which Rimo I is the highest. To the northeast of the Rimo Mountains is the Karakoram Pass, which is one of the important trade routes in Central Asia. Rimo is part of the Siachen Glacier, which is 7,385 m (24,229 ft) above sea level.

8. Hardeol Peak 

Hardeol Peak ranks eighth among the highest peaks in India. Hardeol is known as the Shrine and is one of the most famous peaks in the Kumaon Himalayas. It is located in the northern part of the Kumaon Shrine, bordering Nanda Devi. Hardeol Peak decorates the Milam Valley in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand.

9. Chaukamba Peak 

Chankamba Peak is the 9th on the list. It is the highest peak of the Gangotri Group and is located in the Garhwal Himalayas region of Uttarakhand. The Gangotri group includes four peaks, of which Chaukhamba occupies the highest peak. Its name is due to the arrangement of four peaks, which are very close to each other.

10. Trisul Peak
